I am looking for a house that is in a nice neighborhood and doesn't need a whole lot of work but I don't have a whoile lot of money. OR what is the best way to buy a nice house for cheap? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can find a lot of deals on some foreclosure websites.

Contact your county. Here we have a the county's legal news which publishes all foreclosure auctions on a weekly basis. There are also websites that you can use, but their accuracy can be questionable and they charge a subscription fee.

Everybody is looking for that. Call a real estate agent. Or look for "For Sale By Owner" (FSBO) sales. They are not paying an agent and are willing to negotiate more because of that.

go to your local real estate company's office(like Prudential, Remax, or Coldwell Banker) and ask them for a list of foreclosures and they will give you a paper with pictures and a description of foreclosures in your city or area.
