If people in soaps opera's are so big into technology...?

i mean, they have cell phones and lap tops. Why do they still use an answering machine instead of voice mail?

You are right, now that I think of it they do always have machines. I guess thats only so that the person can get caught up in what every scheme they got going on. I like to watch soaps so that I can catch the bloopers because they have plenty of them.
