I had sex for the first time two days ago, and we used a condom, but I know they're not completely effective, so I'm still a little worried. I'm not 18, so I can't buy the morning-after pill; is there anything else that I could possibly do?

OK... so my question is not what to do in the future... I probably won't have sex again until I get on birth control. I understand the risks, but it happened and there is not much I can do to change that. My question pertains to whether there is actually a way for me to get the morning-after pill or something similar, now that I have had sex and am in no way ready to have a baby.

There's spermicide foam, if you are really that paranoid.

Not have sex. However, that's a bit like shutting the proverbial barn door once the horse has gotten out.

Look, even the Pill isn't 100% effective. If you don't want to get pregnant, the only guaranteed way is to not have sex. If you are going to have sex, you need to be on the Pill, and still use a condom. The Pill is the best option for not getting pregnant, and a condom is the best bet to protect you from diseases, and there are too many out there.

You need to talk with your Mom. I know it isn't always easy, but you need to.

So you're only 17 and you can't even legally buy contraceptives and you don't go to an ObGyn for medical advice...yes, you could possibly keep your legs together and find some other sport or activity. The morning-after pill is just another abortion device, mostly for losers who cannot be be bothered to consult a doctor about reproduction and contraception. You don't even know your own body or you wold have gone to a doctor before getting sexually involved. Your body was designed to a) have sex and b) have babies. If you desire to skip part b), then you should be speaking to a Doctor, not writing into an internet Q&A. And, at 17, with no wish to have babies, you should be spending your time in groups doing fun activities - not hanging around in dark corners having sex. This is not a "sport" or a "game" - it is for adults in committed relationships.

Wow. i'm kinda thinking what's even the element of having intercourse in case you're able to bypass by using all that.... Are you confident you does no longer be extra delicate in basic terms abstaining? you does no longer could bypass by using all that crap or sneak around and lie to your mothers and fathers or difficulty approximately being pregnant. yet to respond to your question - no there's no longer in all threat something you're able to do, different than no longer have intercourse. and there is likewise no thank you to make certain "suitable away" in case you finally end up conceiving. you won't be in a position to make certain by using a house try until eventually approximately 2 weeks after concept, and you could discover out with a blood try a sprint until eventually now, yet no longer suitable after. It takes the fertilized egg 6-12 days to implant in the uterus, and that's the element whilst your physique starts producing the hormone that a being pregnant try is seeking.

Seriously...stop having sex. Condoms do not protect you from STDs and it could break. There is really no 100% fool proof birth control. I know it feels good but just wait a few more years.

Use a spermicidal jelly and the condom-my daughter had two boys due to broken condoms. Also you can go to Planned Parenthood and get free condoms (they might suggest something else) it's free and confidential, you'll get free pap smears and physicals. Good Luck

Abstain! You're too young to be acting like a Grown-Up, anyway. There's more cautions, than just getting Pregnant. I don't feel, Kids, your Age, know what could happen. You're gonna have more problems, by doing it? Than doing it will solve. Wait until you know what you're doing. If Your BF gets mad/ Leave him. he don't love you anyway. You're too Precious to be messed up.

If you're that worried keep those legs together. You don't sound like you're ready for a sexual relationship.
