Average is 30 dlls. plus inserts usually 5 dlls each finger (2X) one thumb slug 10 dlls.
If you are thinking in buying a new ball, I will recommend you to buy it at a local Proshop instead of internet since they will guarantee the job, usually they will even give you some advise on what kind of ball you need and they will drill it for free (cost is included on ball price).
Good luck.

I would not think the drilling should cost more the $20-30. As for the engraving you might want to check with your local bowling alley/ bowling pro shop, they should be able to suggest where you can get this done if they can not do it themselves. When all is said and done I would be surprised if it cost more then $40.

That's pretty affordable. Usually if you purchase a ball from some pro shops, the drilling, grips and possibly balance holes will be included with the price. Our local pro shop drills "internet" purchased balls for $35. Regular and exotic drillings are only $45 with grips included. That's still on average what shops will charge. It did not change much.

Pretty easy across the board in the US. The breakdowns for about three pro shops I get my bowling balls drilled at are:
$40 for drilling (raw drilling no inserts at all)
$5 additional for thumb slug or thumb insert
$5 additional for both finger inserts
Free for having your name engraved into the bowling ball.
Free bowling advice for the asking from your pro shop.
Free for having negative or positive thumb/finger pitches and weak or exotic drillings on the ball.

normally it cost any where between $15 to $20 to have it drilled and as for your name some do it by letter that really depends. go into the bowling alley and ask someone in the pro shop they can tell you exactly how much every thing is.

$60-80 dollars and the grips will add another $10 the inscription or name that you put on the ball is free.
that is if you bought the ball over the internet..but if you bought the ball from a pro shop the drilling is free from where you bought it and then if you want grips it will cost around $10...i only buy balls and have them drilled from thr same shop and i have been doing that for many years

About $60-80 I think. Depends on if you are just getting the holes drilled or are also getting the inserts.
