i cant get any p2p network to correctly d/l or install. i did a lil success with soul seek, but it wont d/l the songs, just says "awaiting user". limewire, bearshare, kazaa, morpheus... not a one of em work. i want to be able to d/l muisc... anyone know how to fix this, or where i can some music for free? and is anyone else hating vista as much as me?

Sorry but it's not Vista, it's you. If you knew enough about the OS you'd be able to get it to do anything. I've been using it since it was in beta and now the released version and never had any of the problems you've described. There are many settings you can adjust / change / manipulate etc.... Also lot's you can do in the registry to get it running exactly the way you want. Limewire et al. are not a problem if you know what you're doing. Just remember not to download any copyrighted materials because it's illegal.

pirating software is AGAINST THE LAW... so not being able to download illegally is ruining your life? Vista has copyright protection built in to put an end to piracy. You are out of luck. Even if you uninstall vista the anti-pirating scripts will remain. you will have to purchase a new computer without vista on it
