if it were not for giant strides in technology, we would still be using tin cans..we have progressed from the old cord board operators, where you dialed a 4 digit telephone number, a woman actually came on the line and spoke to you, put your call thru. to an internet connection based telephone or communications system. we are now able to communicate with lightening fast digital speeds, traveling over fiber optic network as well as beams of light and sound through the air, space...amazing...

oh, negative aspects, has made non personal communication very easy, and preferred..kind of dehumanizing in a way..
