I had an Orange payg sim in my mobile which i have recently lost, the phone is not worth alot so im not bothered about losing it however the sim card has my number on it- so i was wondering if it is some how possible to transfer my old mobile number onto a new sim card, or something like that!!!.

Yes contact orange and tell them your old number. Then ask them to transfer your number. They might need to give you whats called a PAC code. It'll take about 7-10 days in total to transfer your number

Phone orange and ask them if you have a new orange Sim card. If you have decided to change network completely, then you will need to phone Orange for a PAC code. Once you have this you can then phone your new service provider, give them this code and then after 7 days you will be able to use your old number.

Yes you are able to keep your old number, but you would need to ring your network in order to do so. I think this takes as long as a 7 day perdiod, but ring your network and im very sure you will be able to do that.

i had a old orange phone with my old number , but they (orange) transferred my old phone no and my old phone nos into the new phone no problem it can be done , just need to ask orange

nope sorry! each sim card comes with its own unique number. so you will have to start again im afraid.

Yes, but you'll have to contact the network provider, they;ll tell you how to go about it.

ya i know vodaphone did it for a mate of mine not sure about the other networks
