Bill Walton - everybody thinks he would've been the greatest center of all time just because he had a lot of potential before getting injured.

Well, that potential never materialized because injuries plagued his career. He made the All-Star Team only TWO (2) TIMES, Won an MVP award and a title with Portland, & was the NBA Sixth Man awardee when he played for Boston, but missed too many games to be considered one of the 50 Greatest Players of All-Time..

I say his Hall-of-Fame induction was based on his college career, and not much his NBA career. And his MVP award was enough ticket for him to be one of the greatest?!?!

C'mon, Shawn Marion played in four (4) all-star games (and counting), and he isn't getting as much hype as Bill Walton. Shawn Marion is a statistical beast and is even ranked #1 in Fantasy Leagues because of his consistency, yet he isn't getting enough hype.

There should be a 'minimum games played' category in all forms of 'greatness-measurement'..

Charles Barkley is the most over rated player in NBA history. He is also one of the worst sports commentators on t.v. right now. His race with Dick Bevatta was fixed. Ive seen Bevatta run faster during a game.

Dennis Rodman, was an average player at best good rebounder, overrated defender, and he hurt you on the offensive side.
To the two people who hacked on Nash, he defines the MVP award, he makes everyone around him better, just look what happens to Phoenix every time he is out of the lineup they are not the same team they were before, now I know you could say the same thing about a lot of players LJ out of Cleveland lineup makes them a lot worse, but he doesn't do things to make people around him better, it just happens because the focal point of the other team is on him.

How can any of the people on your lists be overrated. Look at their stats and how good their team did. Just because they're good but you don't like them doesn't make them overrated.
