They're spot on, you've got the core subjects (English, maths, science). ICT is great as all classrooms are becoming interactive. RE and citizenship are also important elements of the primary school curriculum.
All of the subjects you have chosen will be important as it will equip you with the subject knowledge to properly educate children, glad to see you haven't chosen 'leisure and tourism,' not really useful to a 6 year old.
What you have chosen is brilliant.
Keep one of the core subjects for A-level this will help when applying to universities, after your GCSE's start to volunteer once a week at a local primary school and keep a note of the dates and what you did, it's this that will really get you onto a teaching course. (Make sure it's a BEd with QTS!)
Good luck

It's a good choice of subjects but it's always good for primary teachers to be able to offer a particular specialism as well (eg a modern language, music, drama, PE or art). However I think you're obviously starting off in the right way! The most important GCSE qualifications to have are at least a C grade in English, Science and Maths (Core subjects).

Don't think you need to worry to much about GCSE choices- all the important ones- mostly science, English and MAths are imposed upon you anyway- or at least they were in my day! IT and citizenship strike me as good choices, basically any national curriculum subject that you will have to teach to primary aged children and you cannot go wrong. Once you have got through your GCSEs try to choose NC subjects again for A levels- this will help you most.
Good luck!

Why not adding to your list of subjects languages. There are more and more primary schools offering languages and the demand for primary school teachers with a language is growing.

If you want to teach in Key Stage 2 it's a good plan to take a Modern Language eg French. This is sort after by schools at the moment.
