There are so many factors in play here. This will be hard to answer. Here it goes.....It really depends on the natural lighting (moon, stars time of night etc...) but it also depends on the individuals own visual acuity. A person with 20/20 vision is much more apt to see that distance than say someone with 20/50. In the military we are trained to use surrounding "ambient" light for night vision without using NVG's (night vision goggles) this aids the naked eye in seeing not only more distance but more detail as well. The key here is to look slightly right or left of your target object and let the objects natural light be filtered by the eye!! Take care!!

Depends on the conidtions, probably not if you didn't move at all, any motion might be able to be seen though.
