I'm really confused. I didn't even watch the game, but I saw his stat sheet. How is a 31/6/5 game with 6 steals undeserving of an MVP award? Did someone else go for 40/10 and I missed it?

It's just an All Star game. All of his friends made sure he got free shots, so he got the MVP. Besides -- the TRUE NBA MVP was not even there -- Steve Nash! Two years in a row, and going on three -- having the best year of his career. And the second best player the last two years -- Dirk Nowitzki. Hmmm two white guys are the best basketball players two plus years in a row??? what is this world coming to?

He had 31 points 17 in the first half
5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals
He had the best overall performance of anyone in the all star game and he did his damage to get seperation from the East and late in the game

I know what your talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...How does a man who leads him team in scoring,throws crazy alley oop passes to STAT, has the whole stadium chanting for him,does crazy reverse dunks on every body,and leads the west to a bigtime blowout get the MVP?it's bananas(sarcasimmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

He was a ball hogger! He took 24 shots in the ALL-STAR game while guys like Josh Howard had 3 attempts and Okur only had 2!!
