Green theatrical grease paint. That what was originally used in the Wizard of Oz. It won't glog the pores and what is used in the industry.

Ben Nye is the best brand of stage makeup out there -- but honestly I think for something small time it might not be worth the cost. It's SO expensive. Any grease makeup that you can get at a costuming/theatre store should be fine .... they say don't go to halloween shops but usually that's your best bet at finding useable stuff near you. Many of them stock professional grade items as well as the cheap face paint -- just pay attention to the labels and use your better judgment. If you're spending fifty cents on makeup you'll probably get your money's worth.

your best bet is to use actual theatrical makeup like ben nye, not that gunky stuff you buy for halloween.
