whats wrong with my mouse/keyboard? sometimes when i click a window its like i hit alt?

a lot of times when left i click into a window, it defaults to the file option in the upper left hand side of the window like i just hit the alt key. in order to get out of that menu i have to click a window a couple times. i reinstalled my mouse driver and i still have the same problem. any ideas for a fix?

You might want to go into Control Panel and Mouse and check out how the mouse button settings for each button are currently defined and reset them more to your liking (especially the number of clicks required for each action to be performed and the click-speed and sensitivity...)
