I have a problem with my labtop?

When ever i close my labtop when it is on, and whenever i come back to open it up the screen never turns back on. Please answer

Some computers have issues coming out of standby.

I would suggest going into the power management properties in the control panel to see what the computer is set to do when you close the lid.

Then you are going to want to go into the bios and try a different suspend type. Some computers have issues with certain suspend types.

S1= Turns off hard drive and monitor.
S3= Same as above but also turns off cpu and the fans.
S4= Hibernate, writes an entire image to the hard drive then turns everything off.
