Are you kidding? If you aren't you must be impaired. You did not purchase the item, therefore you can not get a refund. Just go BUY a microwave this time.

Sounds like that cashier needs to be retrained as we are trained for BOB (Bottom of Basket) and LISA (Look Inside Always).
As far as a refund, you stole the item! I laughed right out loud when you said that your microwave doesn't work. Maybe it's karma's way of telling you to PAY for your items?? It was probably a return that went back out on the sales floor by mistake and the box was retaped?? Did you learn anything from this experience? I hope that security was watching and the next time you enter that same store that you get busted! Our store does this....it's called cameras you dumb ***!

get real! you idn't pay for it. Are you saying you want wal-mart not only to give you a free microwave unknowingly and now you want money for something that you and your accomplice/friend at the register defrauded wal-mart out of in the first place. why don't you take the money you saved from your free microwave and actually buy one so you can have return privileges or at least a warranty? What i'm wondering is why don't you visit your blind as a bat wal-mart cashier and get another for free? or did your friend give away to many of wal-marts things? by the way i work for wal-mart.

You stole a microwave and you are mad that it doesn't work? What kind of a refund do you want? Your refund of the$0 you paid for it? Go buy a working microwave and in the meantime you need to reflect on your actions. If you make too much of a stink you may end up in jail.

Just put in back in the box and return it. They don't even look at it ... they'll give you a Walmart gift card with the refund amount ... go back to same cashier, and if you're lucky, maybe the blind cashier will miss something more expensive this time.
Ignore all those other goody two shoes that replied! Seriously, who's that righteous?
They replied like you literally broke into someone's home and stole a microwave! Come on people!

The best thing you can do is this:
Go to walmart and buy one that DOES work...make sure you hold the receipt...
Then, take the defective one back to the store (with the receipt you got when you purchased the good one)
You'll then be given full credit as well as a free microwave.
Works all the time...

What exactly do you want refunded? The money you paid for it?
Sure....here's $0.00 and your clean conscience back.
What you did was theft.
Take the money you were going to pay for the first microwave and buy another.
If you try to get a refund you will also be adding fraud to your theft.

You could do this very easily. You have all your answers as "best answers" and all by the same two people. So I'm sure you know how to cheat the system. Just apply your knowledge.

You're really not entitled to a refund.
You're entitled to a free, broken microwave.

You got what you paid for; you paid nothing, you got nothing.
You stole the microwave. Go buy another one.
