Traditionally it is believed that it was the Greeks who invented the earliest schools with their academies. However, school may have even earlier beginnings.

Actually, education is benefitial for children. Without access to education, most people would remain illiterate and have a hard time finding proper jobs in the future.
School is good for you. You get doctors because they went to school.
Historically speaking though, Charlemagne is credited with reforming education in France during his reign, and this reform may have influenced other countries to do the same.

I recall hating school too. I went all the way (20 years in total)
and do not regret it. The more you learn the better able you will be to take care of yourself and earn a good living. Hang in there. The people who invented school cared about you, me and others.
