yes because he would not be able to create his own album with out the fame of britney. he is just trying to get media attention to himself.

I do believe he did. He was hoping to have her help in getting his own music career going and it didn't work. On the reverse I heard she only married him so she could fulfill her life long dream of becoming a mother and not have illegitimate children.
