My child was a drool factory. We went through at least 4 bibs a day until he was a year old and through the worst of the teething. Not much you can do about that.

4 oz. at a time doesn't sound like much for a 5-month old. Is he on target with his growth? You might talk to you dr. about that one.

Teething.....also a low grade fever and a runny nose could accompany a child that is teething. Get some teething rings, the liquid filled teething rings, pop them in the freezer to get cold. Also a frozen wash rag helps too. If you feel uncomfortable call your baby's Doctor. Never hesitate to call if you have concerns.

Well I also have a 5 month baby girl, and she does the exact same thing. Your baby must be teething, so look out for his first tooth. I suggest you give him a teether, make sure its a toy lol. Also dont forget the humphries.. Good Luck!!

He has probably started teething. You don't need to do anything unless he is really in a lot of a pain or really not drinking enough.

Frozen teething rings never hurt though.
