It depends on the style, and whether it makes her look older than 10(which it probably does, especially with chanel...), if you're having second thoughts on whether or not it makes her look spoiled, than yes, it does, if you could care less about whether people think your child is spoiled or not, then go for it.

I think so. I live in a very nice rich area and every time adults see children walking around with chanel sunglasses, a full juicy outfit, anything like that it makes people sick. Just because you have the money doesn't mean your child needs to be dressed like a rich adult. Wait until she is older to get her something so nice and branded.

Would she even know or care that its a chanel...most likely not. She would not know the value of it, and lose or break it. I think its ridiculous. Just get her a nice pair of sunglasses at walmart or target.

Yes, I think anyone who buys real Chanel is spoiled. Buying them for a 10 year old is stupid, she'll probably break them.

your daughter is only spoiled if she gets everything she asks for. as long as she knows the meaning of money and is thankful for what she gets then buying her things isn't a problem whether its designer or not. just make sure that she knows that treats are rewards and she needs to earn them.

completely spoiled, pretentious and over the top. Its not about being able to afford it, but the superficial values youre transferring to a very impressionable child.

it is a little over the top. if she can really appreciate their value, then it is ok. i got my first designer bag at 11, but i had saved up for some of it, and i really appreciated it, so it all depends. if she wants them just because her friends have them and because the are pretty, dont get them for her. you could always get her cheap fake ones in the same style. (that way, if she breaks them, it wont be $300 down the drain)

It depends. do she deserves them, like on her report card. If she got good grades then no. But if she was just horrible in school or if she is she a little bad then yes you are spoling her.
