I have been having abdominal pain/cramping off and on now for about a week. I spoke with my doctor and she performed a UTI test. It came back negative. I won't have my period for another week.
Pregnancy is out of the question- I haven't had sex since the beginning of October and have consistantly had my period since then. I have taken pregnancy tests just to clear my own mind.
I do have IBS but haven't had any trouble with it.
Does anyone have any clues to what might be going on???

My Doctor did go ahead and has treated me for a UTI. Problem is the abdomen is actually sensitive to pressure :(

Sometimes women can get pain and cramping up to a month before they start their period. If you have IBS, this could also be symptoms. If you continue to have pain, or it becomes more severe, I would suggest you go back to your doctor or go to a different doctor for a second opinion.

it could be a kindney stone. my roomate just had one of those, and she had abdominal pain, but she thought it was due to her endometriosis...or it could be PMS...i get kind of crampy a few days before i get my period....it could also be appendicitis, but i'm assuming it's not since you already saw your doctor.
