it can be,but if u sit over 2meters away from it and when watching at night have a light that lights the area behind the t.v this then reduces the strain on the eyes.

Yes, bad for the eyes, the figure, the brain and the imagination. As children we could play for hours with two clothes pegs pushed together forming a cross and they became an aeroplane. Modern children have lost this art of imagination and must have buttons to press before they are happy...............

No, just so long as you are not right on top of it. They say you should sit about 3 ft away from a TV and about 18 inches away from a PC monitor.
