Has anyone who is bulemic thrown up a descent amount of what looks and taste like dark blook at the end... mixed in with a little bit of bright blood? I apologize for being so graphic, but I'm wondering what it turned out to be if anything at all. Thank you.

It means your espophogus is eroded from all of the stomach acid. You need to see a doc ASAP and get this checked as this is very very serious. You already have permanent damage but how much and whether a doc can even help you will have to be determined by the doc and what the tests show. See your doc now before it is too late. Hopefully because you asked for help right away you will be ok but only the doc will be able to tell you.

Bulimia by itself is a "Psych" problem,you have to address it ASAP. But Bloody vomit is urgent if not emergent. Because of several attempt to vomit, your esophagus has been exposed to stomach acid, and it got irritated, that's why you had thrown up blood( if it was really blood). With history of Bulimia I bet you had no enough IRON intake, I mean most probably you are already anemic, and having active bleeding makes it even worse. Also you may loose more blood, like having dark black tarry stool. CALL YOUR DOC NOW, or go to ER. Then get help with psychiatrist for your bulimia. Good luck.

I use to have the same prob long ago, your esophagus is eroded and you probably have little holes all the way up. Not good, because that means you are , how do I say this and worry you but not scare you to death,? At the end stages of bulimia. I quit soon after this happened and in time it healed. Get help now or soon this whole question won't matter much. I care not trying to terrify you, I understand, get help my child.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!! Any number of serious things could be happening with the lining of your stomach or esophagus. Please, you're better than that. Eating disorders are for people who aren't strong enough to overcome the pressure. And trust me, you're beautiful, in every single way, because that is the way goddess made you. So talk to your mom, and get the doctors help, so that you can fight this off.

OOOH, that person needs to get to a doctor immediately!!!!! Blood is a ign of erosion of the esophogus and possibly more in depth problems. GET TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!

First of all bulemia is not a good thing to do but if you are throwing up blood, you might be bleeding internally because of your stomach acid hitting organs. YOU NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL if it is happening to you!!!! I MEAN NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
