What fish will get along with them?

But MagicMan is right--tiger barbs may nip at your fish! We bought two dwarf gouramis, and the tiger barbs started picking on them right away. We got rid of the tiger barbs and got another gourami and sound tetras in their place. They get along great. :)

Gouramis are not very agressive and can do well in a community tank with other peaceful fish like livebearers, tetras and cory catfish. I would avoid fin nippers like tiger barbs because the gouramis thread fins can be a major target for them.

angelfish, barbs, cory cats, minnows, loaches, mollies, platies, sharks, swordtails, tetras, lots of plants
