Proactive works in the long hall, but it isn't a quick fix. It has all of the same active ingredients from what you can buy at the drug store. I personally don't recommend it because they use alcohol, which dries your skin. I would personally recommend L'oreal advanced solutions acne mark fading peel, and washing your face twice a day with a facial cleaner because the peel has mushroom proteins that take away some red puffy-ness, and because it has the same active ingredients. use it as directed, at the recommended intervals and you will be fine.

it really depends on what kind of skin you have. different people react differently to different products. most of the people i know who have used proactive say that it doesnt work, but for some people, it does. if you really want to clear your skin up, go to a dermatologist, who will prescribe you something to use on your skin. otherwise, go to a spa and get a facial (your skin may be a little red for the next couple of days, but after that, it clears up a lot). also, dont wear too much foundation, etc, because that clogs pores which will cause breakouts. make sure to wash your face morning and night, and after working out. i use a set of products called dermalocia, and that really works.

It all depends on your skin type. For me, when I tried it, it dried out my skin really bad, so I was left with flakey skin. So proactive was a bit too harsh for me (and plus I have a bit of sensitive skin) my mom bought this tea tree oil thing from the Body Shop. It's in a little green vial, and it helps get rid of your blemishes and decreases the redness of pimples. It's really cheap, and it works REALLY well.

There’s one thing I know about acne. There’s NO such thing as a medicine that works for everyone. Everyone’s skin is different. The best thing you can do is go to the dermatologist, and he’ll tell you which treatment is the appropriate one for your skin type. Who knows, it might be proactive.

It works on different levels for each person. But you should know that it doesn't get rid of pimples, it just prevents new ones from popping up. Also, it takes a few months for you to see results.

I've been using it for a week, and I'm seeing small changes. It says it takes a few weeks for it to take effect, so I would use it as soon as possible if your prom is coming up.
If you get it, use it everyday. And be patient.
