World wars, cold war, Afghan war and current situation in Middle East had brought a lot of miseries to the people. Unfortunately we have not learned lesson. We should expect that these countries will not do any thing that will start again 'cold war.' There is a need to make the United Nations more effective to bring the world countries more closer to each other.

Bush is pushing other countries to build and stock pile nuclear weapons because of his rhetoric and actions. The countries that are concerned like North Korea and Iran for example; remember the Enola Gay flying over Japan.

Your concerns might be better directed toward the future North American Union. Hell our troops might not even have a USA to come home to. Were you asked if you wanted to be a citizen of another country? I know I wasn't. At least the Europeans held referendums before they formed the EU.
