Pay Per click (google) is one way, links to other websites helps, buy some targeted traffic, although this can be a bit hit and miss as to the targeted audience, advertise it's products,or services on free ad sites.like.freeads.net,write a blog about it's content and include a link to the site, tell your friends, put leaflets through doors, flyer's in shop windows, set up a my space account and link to it.
Submit it to the search engines :0)
