The US would be better off sending one of its regular teams with a couple of additions to fill in the wek spots. This Dream Team thing isn't workin to well. A team full of superstars and no roleplayers with a new coach doesn't work to well.

No, it is everybody for himself and there is no team unity it has not worked lately, everyone is selfish and they all want the ball, I think they need to take one of the better teams in the NBA that has a all american starting 5, add in one maybe two players to shore up there weaknesses and that would allow them to win the gold, team unity.

If you think about it the US is not the best in basketball. There are many Europian countries that are good. Where did Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, and many more players come from. I am not saying that the US is not capable of winning the gold, I am saying it would be hard.
