I never thought there was a comparison until I realized that I never once thought of the simpsons after I watched it, but often did of rocko.

I think because Rock's Modern Life was in segments, that it seemed like you got more. But the timeless comedy of the Simpson's at that same time overshadowed RML.

the simpsons only because it was on first and is still on now rocko was a good show but got kinda repetitive towards the end but the simpsons keeps coming up with new things to do i dont know how they do it!

i think the simpsons is brilliant because they bring modern day events to life and make fun of them. however, i much prefer rocko's modern life. it's just more entertaining. i liked the one where rocko gets the suckomatic to clean his house, and the one where they go to the beach and everything goes wrong. is that show still on? i miss it

Are you kidding? The Simpsons may be the best show on TV....
Ever....
The only other cartoon that comes close is the Rocky and Bullwinkle show.
It too was good at sometimes well hidden political satire.

I love them both in different ways as The Simpsons is more satire and Rocko's is more daft!
