Bad mobo?

Onboard graphics or aftermarket card? If you get absoultely nothing, as not even going into the POST then it seems it would be graphics related, assuming you are getting power which it sounds to be true.
If it is an aftermarket card the graphics should still default to VGA even with the jumpers set wrong and no drivers loaded.

Ya got all the power connections plugged in to the devices? If so, check to make sure they're secure. Otherwise you may have something plugged in wrong. Or, as previously stated, possibly bad mobo or jumper settings are wrong.
