NBA World Starting Five: Yao Ming ( Very big, can out rebound almost everybody) , Steve Nash ( The best point guard in the NBA) , Manu GInobili ( The entrainer) , Dirk Nowitzki ( Big and can shoot 3s) , and Paul Gasol ( More athletic than most power fowards)

NBA USA Starting Five: Shaquille O'Neal ( No one can stop Shaq), Tim Duncan ( Most fundamental player and he did play for the USA team, not the Virgins Islands team), Kevin Garnett ( Can play any position out there) , Kobe Bryant ( Clutch Player), and Chris Paul ( The passer)

The USA team would pull off a close win. 95-99
The USA team I picked has more complete and dominating players than th NBA world team.

Even though Duncan plays for the U.S. National team he is still considered an International player but for argument's sake we'll just leave him out

USA
Starters - Amare, Garnett, LeBron, Kobe, Wade
Bench - Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, T-Mac, VC, Iverson, Jermaine O'Neal and Gilbert Arenas

World
Starters - Yao, Nowitzki, Luol Deng, Manu, Nash
Bench - Gasol, Diaw, Andres Nocioni, Stojakovic, Tony Parker, Mehmet Okur, Barbosa

I don't know who'd win but this would be a great game since its not all about individual skill but also team chemistry which i think the World team would have an advantage

Duncan is part of the US and has no worlds eligibility as he has played for the US in the olympics

Here's why team US would crush them:

Team US: Wade, Kobe, LeBron, Garnett, Duncan
with arenas, D Howard, Bosh, Ray Ray, Anthony, Redd, Iverson, Paul off the bench.

Team world would be: yao, Gasol, Dirk, manu, nash
wuth parker, AK, nocioni, barbosa, Deng, ilgauskas, predrag

the international team can't defend at all and only have about 4 or 5 legit all stars on it. Way too much depth on team US and they have enough outside shooters to last with this team.

Actually tdubya86, the Virgin Islands is part of the US, therefore its called the US Virgin Islands. My starting lineup for the World would be the same as yours but maybe with Pau Gasol in for Andrei ( i kno he plays PF and AK-47 plays SF). My NBA starting lineup would be Dwight "the beast" Howard, The Big Ticket (KG), King James, Kobe and D-Wade ( He played PG in the olympics and he did a great job).

Technincally, Tim Duncan would be on the World team as he was born in the Virgin Islands. You can read more in-depth here:
