he broke up and said we are friends but now hesitate to call me!!! why cant he at least do that as a guy!!!

guys do not maintain friendships with women they've dated. he will not call you unless he wants something from you--use your imagination--so you need to move ahead with your life. that is the only chance he will eventually call--to jump on your happiness bandwagon.

He most likely said you are friends to make you feel better, without realising hed actually have to maintain a friendship. If he doesnt call you then im sorry but he isnt interested in being friends, its just an exuse to stop you going all bunny-boiler on him. Have some self-respect, delete his phone number and move on, he sound sound worth being friends with if hes acting like that

move on, and do not call him. being friends with ex's is hard. take a break so you can get over it and deal with the issues, then learn from the mistakes. try being friends several months down the road, after the healing process and you have grown from it.

If he broke up with you and still expects you to call him then he is a disillusioned fool!
Don't give him the satisfaction that you still want contact with him, move on!

Dont call him, it will make you look desperate and he may not appreciate the attention from you now you have broken up anyway.
