I am going to be the first one here to back up their position on this question.

I completely agree with the questioner the liberals are way out in front

Reasons:

1. Prejudices: The left LOVES to say that everyone except them are bigots, racists, sexists etc.... However, Its only the left I ever hear talking about race or sex etc... of people, I have never ever heard any conservatives (according to the left, the biggest bigots of all) talking about "blacks" or "women", only the left! Hypocrisy!

2. Fiscal policy: Everyone here is basic liberal fiscal policy: "If you throw enough money at a problem then it will either go away or it will fix itself", obviously this policy will never work. They accuse conservatives of killing social programs and limiting their funding, HOWEVER it is the left that enables policies that don't work. Here is an example of left fiscal policy that has messed up a good social program. I live in California and as most know we [California] is 49th in standardized testing scores, and yet California pays the most for schools and adds the most money every year to the school budget, and yet we only get worse in testing scores. And now when the "Conservative" governor wants to cut a small amount of funding for the schools so that the school system can be more effcient with their money so when they do get some more money, the left immediately label him as killing schools and yet they had been killing California's schools for more than 20 years... sounds like hypocrisy to me.

3. Presidential Praise: The liberals LOVE their Bill Clinton and HATE George W. Bush Jr. even to the point of comparing him to NAZIS! Ok so let's look at why the left hates Bush so much... the left says because of the thousands of people killed in the Iraq war. Well let's look at what the wonderful Bill Clinton did... Oh wait... Bill Clinton ordered the CARPET BOMBING of hundreds of Bosnian cities during the bosnian war killing millions of innocent men, women, and children... hmmm Hypocrisy strikes deep

So therefore I agree with the questioner here that the left is definitely the more hypocritical group than any other

Republicans aren't without fault, but liberals especially will do anything and say anything to win votes. ALL leading democrats were all for supporting military action against Iraq UNTIL it came time to start campaigning in 2004! Then all of the sudden they were anti war. Forget about the fact that Bill Clinton fired cruise missiles at suspsected WMD sites in December 1998, suddenly in a campaign year Iraq was no longer a threat! Go figure!

Republicans. Im a Republican. The leaders are against abortion, but have not fought that fight. They are against corruption, but handled the Foley handly horribly. The Dems stance on abortion is just bad. The Dems are corrupted as well, so they too are hypocrites. The Pentagon is responsible for falsifying documents, which is unacceptable. The Bush administration should be more aggresive in Iraq. The dems starts complaining and Bush kinda sorta gives in. Screw the Democrat Senators, lets fight this fight! Oh yeah, what are the Republicans doing about illegal immigration? Come on guys. This doesnt apply to all the Senators, but some Republicans are hypocrites.

all of them, they're only really interested in getting re-elected so they'll tell the voter anything, including flipping on long held stands, to get votes.

And this isn't just for Americans, it's Canadians, Brits , just about everyone in western idustrialized democracies.

Be as negative and nasty as you can , lie through your teeth because most voters are too stupid to know any different and when you get elected do what you want.

i think they both are,they might claim to believe in justice and all of that but hey they dont mean it!i would like it for them to do so ,but its not like that at all i guess.
