Give your local DEFRA office a ring they are help full .I brought my dog with me to Turkey and found them invaluable. If you are planning to travel on the pet passport scheme you will have to check if the countries you enter are members I have strong doubts about Croatia. You will find as I did all country's have different requirements for instance France insists dogs be chipped The other five country's I went through didn't.DEFRA will help you find your local office in the phone book.

Well for me to take my dog to UK, she had to have 2 rabies jabs, then a blood test to show that she had rabies antibodies, then I had to wait 6 months before I could take her, she was given her own dog passport and she needs to have annual injections (boosters) to keep the antibodies, but your vet will advise you.
