i have been very determined to make myself known to the school because i want to attend this particular school so badly and my poor test taking skills drags me down..i know thats no excuse, but whats a girl like me to do? i know that i can do well because i want it so badly.

so what do you think about what they are offering me?
they said i can audit a few classes but will have to retake the LSAT for the 3rd time.

Absolutely audit A (yes singular) course. For a couple reasons:
1- auditing multiple will get expensive! but 1 is a good way to judge your fit with the school, and let them see how amazingly smart you are outside of standardized tests!
2- Their median score means they DO let people in with lower scores, perhaps if you show them your dedication by taking the LSAT a third time and your ability to complete coursework at their level you can be one of these people!
3- You may realize after auditing the class that there is a better fit for you elsewhere and you can refocus your energy on a different school since you would then have a comparison. OR conversely, you may realize you love it there and will do all they ask of you to get in!

GOOD LUCK FRIEND!

Oh yes go for it. If they are encouraging you to take the test again and offering you the opportunity to audit classes then they want you. If they didn't they'd just say tough luck see ya. They don't have to offer anything and schools don't normally encourage people like this one is. Perhaps they are hoping that doing the work of these classes will help your test score and get you in. I would jump on this with both feet and work my butt off. Show them what you can do it can only help you get in. Even though you are only auditing this class work like you are bucking for a grade. Wow them. The professor who has you in the class could become your spokes person when the committee considers your application. If you impress that person then they can put in the good word for you with the committee. They are trying to give you a way in! Congratulations! and Good luck! Get some books or take a class on getting through the LSAT to help your score. I'm a good test taker but I studied for both the SAT and then the GRE and got a better grade than I think I would have gotten otherwise. Make use of the tools offered you through the university.

I would take the school up on their offer to audit a few classes. This will show the administrators at the school that you are serious about persuing this degree and attending this particular college.

If you perform well in the classes but still continue to do poorly on the LSAT there may be a way to have your professors write you letters of recommendation which could help you get admitted into the college.

Also, have you thought about taking a LSAT prep class of some sort to help you increase your score?

10 points on the LSAT is a long way to go, not to mention that most schools take an average of your last two test scores when they look at your application. So you may be looking at a 20 point improvement simply to get to the median for this school. If you think you can make that kind of improvement in your scores, then audit the courses and try getting reccomendations from the professors. If not, audit the courses, go to another law school, get to the top of your class 1st year, and and try transferring in (check the school's policies on transfers, some do/some don't).

Oh, yech. i've got self belief for you. The LSAT replaced right into a demoralizing mindboink of a try the two cases I took it. It felt like an IQ try (and that i've got had lots of those and achieved properly) forcefed to my innovations via a firehose. the opportunities against a 10-factor score enhance are stunningly low. maximum retakers are fortunate to get a 2-3 factor enhance. the different element you may desire to fret approximately is dropping factors. of direction, this all is going on your prevalent besides. Ask in the event that they permit you to audit ONE classification, components, without an LSAT retake. the guidelines which you would be able to desire to word are many and assorted (wait til you hit the guideline against Perpetuities). It feels like verbal algebra, and you will finally see why they have that good judgment section. in case you may word components concepts, you're able to do the different stuff. in case you knock them lifeless in components, use that throughout the time of a petition for admission as an exception to coverage and make the factor that it relatively is a quite technical problem which calls for "lawyerlike" questioning. don't get your hopes up, however. this is all a numbers pastime. in the event that they enable you in with heavily decrease numbers, it drags down their averages. the different determination is try to get right into a diverse college.
