i am in love with this girl but she just recently started going out with someone [i got them together to make her happy]. we're bestfriends practically and i know i shud tell her but i'm afraid of her reaction because of her boyfriend. i'm waiting for them to break up but i think it'll never happen because yesterday someone asked her if she would break up with him and she said "NEVER I LOVE HIM". btw i'm 13 so i think i might have enough time for them to break up before they get serious or anything

My best friend when I was your age was a girl. I really liked her but never asked her on date. We would go to places as friends but never a serious date. I always felt that our friendship was more important and didn't want to loose it because we started dating and then things didn't work out. In other words I never took the chance to have what could have been a great relationship with her cuz I didn't want to loose the relationship that I had.
Now that I am 40, I look back on that as one of my biggest regrets. I regret that I never did say anything to her and thus never had a serious relationship with her. If you are going to say something, then say something. Don't wait, because you are going to keep waiting and it will never happen. The only way you are going to get her is if you do it yourself.
