The problem is in a democracy you get what the people want, and the people of that country want people to do what they consider right and moral and hold that higher then Western freedoms. You can't have a democracy with your values if the people of the country don't have your values you have to pick one or the other.

When most the members of the UN are not democratic counties and don't value personal freedom above morality why would they try to spread those believes? Freedom of religion actually is against the religion of a lot of them. Some countries converting from the official religion is punishable by death. Why would they help us spread our morel values if they do not agree with them?

Five years ago the UN tried to tell Bush--and the world--that there were no WMD--and refused to go along with Bush's war of conquest.
