As a general group? Putting distinct sexual differences aside, men and women often differ on certain cognitive function tests by double digit percentages. Men tend to do a little bit better on general intelligence ("g" tests) than women, with the difference increasing as they age.

(A 2004 study found that the mean score of a male sample was about 11% higher than the mean score of a female sample. This difference possibly existed because more males appear at the genius end of the scale (and at the handicapped end of the scale) than women; the genius side apparently outweighed the handicapped side. Alternatively, the median may be slightly higher, but I think the first hypothesis is a more likely answer.)

That's an interesting observation I've made looking at test after test; the differences between men and women increase as they age (to a point), which makes perfect sense considering that hormones are more active as people age. A lot of literature that claims men and women are the same is based on children. If you're analyzing subjects that haven't even started puberty, your results are obviously going to be skewed; yet they are still used to further some agendas.

According to other recent (2003) statistics, women also smile more (about 20% more according to one study, I believe) and apparently have greater strength in facial recognition when infants (close to 30% more; this decreases as subjects age).

If you want a whole list of differences (and similarities) check:

Don't just look at the big picture, though; look at the details too.

I personally find that girls today are more outspoken than boys, if that's any indication. I also find that boys tend to be a little bit more mature, but that's Naples for you.

Being women. Sure there are cross dressers out there, and some really femmie pretty boys, but come on.
We've got it, we know we've got it, and we also know that even the guys who try to prove masculine superiority can't go a day without thinking about women.
The very reason woman is so desirable is because man cant figure em out because we are so completely opposite, which is exactly what we were meant to be.
Where's the fun in a life with no surprises?

It all depends on the woman or the man. Some women are better than men at certain things, but men are also better than woman at certain things. It just all depends.

The giving birth argument is hardly conclusive: since men are unable to give birth, how can anybody be so sure that we can't handle the pain?

Communication. Keeping their immediate surroundings from smelling like a foot. Caring for young children. Cooking. Sensitivity. Orgasms.

All of my answers are stereotypical, but you asked a pretty dumb question.
