pardon me for entering a UK discussion board but i am fed up with brits coming into our boards and asking questions like "don't americans realize how much the world hates them" or "do americans know there's a world outside the US" so i'm here to answer these questions.

YES we know we are hated by the world, how can we not? the media reminds us of it every 8 seconds.

YES we know there's a world outside the US. with all the billions we've spent on foreign aid and the thousands of our young soldier's lives we've sacrificed to help other countries, how can we not?

satisfied???

hi locksmith, pop the kettle on buddy i will have a brew with you mate anytime.im british and mate i have no probs with you americans at all, most of the brits that post such things are just trolling, they are mindless idiots just trying to get a reaction, they do not speak for the majority.they dont even know most of the time what they talking about.the media are very often way off the mark as well.trust me people i visit and use many us sites and forums and have never been made anything less than welcome.sure there are issues with a small minority that follow politics and believe the bad crap that the media claim but the minority is so small its like trolls they are not important.with all the bad media and bad rulers of countries war is inevitable, but rest assured what is the only important fact here.WAR DOES NOT DECIDE WHO IS RIGHT,IT ONLY DECIDES WHO IS LEFT.and that is a sad sad fact.regardless of race breed or colour hail the day when all men see each other as equal.

I don't think the brits hate the americans i think it has more to do with bush and having our guys fight in a war which could of been prevented. We too have lost hundreds of innocent soldiers in a war that was not ours. So in replacement of helping out the uk have lost fantastic brave people. Do not take it as a personal insult it's not your fault there is only one person to blame and that is the war minded person BUSH!!

to answer your next question, the uk too have spend billions on foriegn aid etc etc but this is not a competion between the uk and the U.S

Actually, no. I personally am not satisfied with your explanation. It clarifies nothing except that you seem to think money will buy you friendship and knowledge. Doesn't work like that. There are so many points to make that on such a board as this it would be a useless exercise.
You do your best, I know, but often it's just not good enough. I visit USA many times. My daughter works in Ohio. I go to Oshkosh, I read your thrillers. Other than that? Not much else strikes me as earth-shatteringly good.

Don't lump all the Brits together. I'm American and my brother lives in the UK. I have been to visit him, and everyone there was very kind and friendly to me. They are great people! Don't you realize these boards are a haven for everyone, everywhere who wants to spout off about whatever they don't like? There are plenty of stupid Americans who get on here and bash everyone else, too. There are idiots on both sides of the pond. Don't buy into the hype....it just adds to the discord. The Brits are our friends !

No,im not satisfied at all,why dont you remove all your military bases that are almost in every country around the world, why do you americans need to control the way other countries think, maybe if you stopped interfering everywhere people wouldnt hate you so much. And dont forget all the black operations america has been involved in,like engineering the coup over a democratically elected government in Chile,so please, dont be a hypocrite, because people are not as stupid as you would like to think

For my part I only ask and answer questions on the UK site. And I get loads of answers from Americans. And, for some reason we also get American questions on the UK site. Maybe it's a glitch in the system that sorts questions by language and not nationality.
I don't hate Americans. I've visited your country and found the people friendly, hospitable, polite and helpful. And we are allies.

Do not carry this chip on your shoulder by generalising all non US citizens to hate your wonderful country! I am a Londoner bred and born and I have NEVER heard any my associates say anything bad about the American people. Friendly rivalry sometimes but mainly envy of your wonderful country and its people. You are directing your ill advised venom to the wrong country and I am sure not too many Americans will agree with you pointing the finger at the UK. We both have leaders we do not agree with at times, so get that chip off your shoulder and I genuinely say " God Bless America"
