You make an excellent point. American "politics" tends to get the definitions all wrong re: liberal vs. conservative. It's largely the media's fault for not clarifying the true definitions; and it's even more so the fault of conservatives who generally don't know what in the hell they believe in, if anything, and make an apocalyptic issue of the "liberal label" without understanding what, in fact, defines a liberal.

It is interesting every time the troops make some progress the libs began to foam at the mouth. I would bet if the enemy surendered the libs would go into toxic shock because how would America then be distroyed as they would have to do it themselves and everyone knows they only want to talk and do nothing. Gosh it is a terrable death to be talked to death

It doesnt sound like liberalism at all. Libearls are too rational to have screwed up Iraq. COns were too big of bleeding hearts for their Muslim buddies under Saddam.
