I've been trying to decide on a brand and model. I have to carry my laptop daily so I definitely need something small. 15.4 is definitely too heavy. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles either. Thank you.

Looking for something very light so 12.1" screen seems good. Budget is less than $2,000. Operating System: XP

Personally, I'm a fan of the HP business notebooks. The business notebooks are made smaller and lighter, as well as more durable, because of the demands of frequent travelers.

You can decide whether or not you need an ultra-light notebook, but the 14" balanced mobility models are usually quite light as well.

I own a domicile windows computing device, however the Mac computers are staggering! i exploit them each and all of the time in college. they by no ability warmth up, they by no ability freeze, they have a gret format. I cant think of of any cons approximately them. I fairly reccomend an apple laptop.
