he isnt dead, my turtle is just like that, that is how all turtles are, what you need to do is feed him less often, trust me his will live he is a reptile, then he will start to move more

Find a vet ASAP but untill you do, clean the tank well and fill with SALT water about room-temp.This helps boosts the turtle's immune system.
Clean the tank very well to kill off any bacteria and to prevent more from coming back.
Keep a heat lamp or any type of light on constantly for vitamins.
Be sure to have water so he'll not get dehydrated.
Provide a little food even if he won't eat, for just-in-case.
BUT STILL CONTACT A TROPICAL VET !!!

You need to find an exotic animal vet in your area ASAP. A visit will cost around $40-$60, which could help save your turtle's life. Call your local vet and see if he can reccommend an exotic animal vet.

no,dont let it die.. both my turtles and tortoises are like that. they are just lazy. also...it can be a saltwater turtle because owning 1 is illeagal it must be a freshwater turtle dont set it out in the sea. it'll die in less than 1 day. its always like that dont bother

He might be cold - do you have a heater in his water or a warm lamp over his tank? He should probably have a UVB light if he isn't outside (if it's too cold for him).
I'm giving you a link to a website where you can find more info on your turtle - temperatures they need, lighting, food, and some medical information. http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/
Good luck with him.

I think you shouldn't put him in the sea you should take him to the vet because he might be sick. Just don't let him die.

So it's a sea turtle?
Maybe your Mom is right.
If he's a sea turtle, then he needs real salt (ocean) water. If you have him in fresh water he will die.
Take him back where ever you got him.

I agree with your mom, he sounds sick...
You should take him to a vet and see what they have to say about it
Sorry for your sick pet-

Sounds like he is old and not really anything else you can do. All things must come to an end. Animals are not meant to be caged set him free.
