everytime i do my washing i never use a tumble dryer and all my clothes are always static all day long - it drivesa me nuts is there anything i can do to stop it????????????????/

Use a dryer sheet or two and always have Static Guard on hand.

Use liquid fabric softener in the final rinse. You can also pour a bit of liquid softener into a spray bottle, fill with water, shake and then spray on clothes that have static.

Some times the fabric softener can help, especially those single sheets that you toss into the dryer.

put in a sheet of static guard in the dryer cuddle soft fabric softener sheets works very well for me.

In the winter i get a lot of static cling too.I have purchased a humidifer which helps a lot.Perhaps you should consider buying one.
