My result was one solid horizontal blue line on the top, and a faint horizontal line underneath it. What does this mean??

I had my period last week ... but, I still felt like I should take the test. Does the fact that I had my period, change anything? I think I'll make a doctor's appointment as soon as I can...

It means you are pregnant.

The solid blue line will be the control line, to show the test has performed correctly, and the second line will be in the results box, any line, however faint, is a positive.

If there were two lines the first box and one in the other it is positive. However, note that if it was not read with the 5-10 minute time frame it is not valid and you need to take another test.
Most positives look like this and the faintness does not matter.
+ -, = - are both positive and does not mater on the brightness or faintness. In fact most of the time they are not the same color. A positive is a positive. I would go to the doctor and get a blood test to confirm but it sounds like a positive. Also, if you are willing to pay a little more Clearblue digital tells you pregnant or not pregnant so there is not room for error in reading the test. Start taking prenatals and call doctors offices as soon as possible so they can schedule you in. Sometimes it can take up to two weeks to get you in. If the test are negatives both are - -

Two lines means you're prego. Since the second line is faint you should go to the doctor. Take care of yourself in the mean time.

how come you dont have the instructions if you purchased it then the instruction should be on the inside or even the box itself sometimes have the instructions. Anyways i dont know how you got this test but the result you giving us looks like a definite positive.

go to google and type in clear blue and it should have the directions.....good luck!!!!!
