I think they should despite the naysayers on ESPN who all went to ACC schools. Their RPI is not quite what you like and some of their losses were bad losses, especially the non-conference home losses. But no Big East team has won 20 and been left home.

This is going to be a hell of a tough tournament to make it into, and Syracuse is sliding around on the bubble's edge in my opinion. If they can make a decent run of it to end the season and get some wins in the big east tournament, they should have a shot at getting in. I won't be surprised if they're one of the teams they feature on selection sunday who does not get in, though...

Syracuse is in. no one is holding the crew that finishe fifth in the tremendous East and gained 22 video games out. i'm particular the committee needs that they had a higher RPI, yet they seem to be a classic get mutually of a crew that if watched is more beneficial advantageous than their numbers aspect out. Does that advise they win a first round recreation- enable's no longer get too some distance prior to ourselves.

Nope last year the only reason Syracuse got into the tourny was because they ran the table and won the Big East tourny. They had a more talented last year, oh wait excuse me, they had a more talented one man team last year in MacNamara. I knew they would get booted from the tourny last year in the 1st round but this year unless they run the table again in the Big East tourny they dont have much of a chance.

Really doubt it, the Big East is BEYOND weak this year. Their only quality win is at Marquette, and they lost at St. Johns and at home to Drexel. They also lost to Connecticut.
BE will probably get only 4 teams in, Syracuse not being one of them. If Syracuse can win its last 3 games, then they probably will make it.

They need to win at least 2 games in the conference tournament. Their strength of schedule isn't enough this year.

Very unlikely.
Syracuse is 64th in RPI and has only two quality wins, at Marquette & vs. Villanova. If they win their three remaining games, they'll still have to make a lot of noise in the Big East tournament to qualify at-large.

Depends on how they finish in the Big East Tournament. I think alot of teams in the Big East will depend on this Tournament.

i've heard experts say that villanova is one of the last teams in, and they are better overall and in conference, so i'll have to say that the 'cuse have to get deep in the big east tourney to make it
