The Thing That Should Not Be, from Master of Puppets, one of the best they ever did.

Orion is my widespread Metallica music. yet because you want enter Sandman, you'll possibly like some thing on their Black Album. If I had to make certain on songs of that album, i'd propose "do not Tread on Me","My pal of distress" and "The Unforgiven".

Ain't My B*tch is my favorite.

Most of the ones you have are pretty old but still good/classic songs. Some of the (relatively) newer ones I like are Fuel, Unforgiven II and The Memory Remains.

Also noteworthy are: Unforgiven (the original), Wherever I May Roam, and Turn the Page.

Try out the S&M cd collection, where they played with the San Francisco Orchestra, very powerful and moving! It was awesome, the DVD is great.

I asked the same thing about Pearl Jam a while ago.
I had about 7 of their songs, then i bought their albulms.
And now i have 87 of their songs i like.
Don't waste your time with songs, listen to albulms.
