It wasn't the "war to end all wars" cause Woody Wilson was a sorry excuse for a socialist like your NEA school teacher and Woody botched the job and screwed up Europe with the help of the French and England. Imperialistic America started WWI cause they didn't have Obama to save the day with his winning smile and a pack of cool menthol's. It was brutal cause there is no gun control in America and Mexico was smuggling arms purchased in America and selling them to the French and Germans. before that they were tossing French bread and sour kraut at each other.

After WW1 the allies made germany pay for all the war time damage caused by it. This set germany into a sort of economic depression and then good old Hilter came along and blamed that problem on the Jews and well the rest is history. Had we not been so hard on germany after WWI it would be interesting to see if WWII would have happend, or even better yet if Hitler had gotten accepted to art college like he had originally wanted to do....

My personal opinion is that there will always be war and has always been war. One of the main reasons for war is religion. Like 9-11 it was because some other religion didn't like the United States. Isreal and palistine have been in war since abraham had isac and ishmel. All wars is not because of this though. some wars are over power and political control and to better onesselve.

The prime reason for stopping the war in 1918 was to give the population a chance to rebound so as to have a new crop of fools to die for their beliefs.

There will always be war. Humans heve free will, so there is no way to predict how future people will think. Since they have free will, there is always the possibility that two won't agree. Even if they all could be forced to have one religion, someone someday would create a new one and accumulate followers. I could go on and on.

There will never be an end to all wars. War creates more war and man is intresically evil. Read a book on the world wars.
