I would begin by putting the books away (maybe in a bookcase). Glance through your papers with a large garbage bag beside you and immediately toss out anything you don't need. Chances are good that your room will look immensely better already.

Sort through any clothing items strewn about your floor ... dirty clothes go to the laundry, clean clothes get hung up in a closet or folded and put away in a dresser drawer. If you're not sure of whether clothes are clean or dirty, just give them a quick sniff.

Now, with everything off of your floor, grab the vaccuum and run this around your room. The hardest part of cleaning is getting started I find ... once I get going and can see the results, I am far more inspired.

Sometimes it can get overwhelming, Take a deep Breathe and look at whats there,
First pick up all the dirty wash and put it in the hamper, Then hang up everything that gets hung up
Now Make your bed, and take the papers and on your bed separate them into categories, Bills
papers to save and file, Ones to be taken care of now, and throw out all the ones that you have been saving for someday.
If you have a bookshelf then put the books in it.If not Maybe you can find a spot to display them. Make sure everything is off the floor and vacuum, and then polish the furniture. Take all the garbage out . Spray some Fabreeze all around and your done.

then best way is this set your alarm say 10-15 min´s see how much you can do in this amount of time. So clothes of the bed and into the closet dirty clothes leave next to the door . you can take them to the laundry basket when you have finished , shoe´s in the closet make sure there out from under the bed,, Stop, have a rest , then do the same again 15-20 min´s like this you´ll have your room in ship shape order , But can you keep it this way for the rest of the week .? I wonder Happy cleaning

Go to the store and acquire some tote boxes. They come in many sizes, shapes and colors. When you don't have room for bookcases, these are magic. You can get them to store out of the way, like under your bed, Be sure to get the correct size.Throw out paper work not needed etc. Dust, vacuum, change bedding, and put on some music to keep you motivated. I suggest, take a picture of the storm(mess) first, then the fresh, clean and shiny room. It will be a constant reminder for what look you like best.I know it works for me.Good luck.

1)turn on some tunes that will keep you moving.
2) make your bed first.
3) open your curtains or blinds if it is nice outside
4) pick up all the stuff off of your floor, putting laundry in its place and put everything else on your bed minus garbage.
5) get organised by putting all the lose papers and stuff in one spot. if you dont have a spot make one!
last of all dust, vaccuum and your room should look a million times better.

Get a big trash bag and throw away everything you don't need. Then put away everything that is out of place. Change the sheets on the bed, dust and vacuum. Voila! Clean room.

Turn on a timer for 15 minutes and clean as much as you can really fast. When the timer goes off it will be clean enough to where you will be able to see what needs more attention.
