Don't forget that £5 billion a year that Gordon Brown has had from people's pension funds every year since 1997. That's £50 billion that was to help fund everybody's retirement. All spent now!

Don't forget Gordon's other tactics either - announcing unpleasant tax hikes on one day and then implementing them six months later.

'Giving' a tax break on one thing as a prelude to putting it in bands in which most people are more highly taxed.

In fact Gordon doesn't drive himself at all - so it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work out who his favorite tax target is.

You've also been told that being a full member of the EEC is a bad thing!? oh really so the Republic of Ireland is having a real bad time of it then?? But then they would tell you that because if you joined as a full member state Westminster would not be able to set the taxes! doh! Being half and half means you get all the rules but none of the benefits, you've got to be right in or right out. The UK needs to make that choice soon before you're industry, farming and fishing disappears forever. You have already lost most of your historic culture to politically correct nutters! What a shame, yours is such a beautiful country and people.

The truth about the relationship between tax rates and tax revenues has been theorized and proven several times over, but liberals refuse to learn the lesson. This conservative tax theory states that higher tax revenue (taxes paid to the government) is actually achieved by lowering taxes on businesses and working people to an optimal level. This coincides with the capitalist theory that by allowing people and businesses to keep more of their hard earned money, they will, in turn, have a stronger incentive to earn more revenue; thereby creating more tax revenue for the government than the government would have otherwise.

The reason that liberals love to increase taxes is because it serves their political power base. As they re-distribute income from working people to non-working people in the form of social "entitlements", they are earning the votes of the people who will re-elect them. That is why it is so important for the liberals to keep the poor dependent on them for handouts.

By contrast, conservatives value hard work, self-dependence and initiative.

I think that they are building up to 100% tax. We will then have a command economy (Communism). Totalitarianism. Instead of an outright revolution they are going about it incrementally. The social side of the revolution is almost complete, and when we are handed over to the federal states of Europe, it will be complete.

Brilliant question. This is a question i find myself asking as well. I think they will continue to suck as much as we will let them get away with. Is there no way that we can stand up against them? In a peaceful way of course. We should be heard after all, this is a democracy right?

They can't stop taking money off us, they have given away our infrastructure and assets, sold off our industry and are commited to paying out huge sums of money to aliens who have never contributed to the system and so the only place they can get money is off the suckers who live and work in this fools paradise.
