I have a lot of friends and i usaully give them all nicknames four of them deciede they wanted me to call them their regular name.
Well since i used to call a nickname i now forgot their realy names and if i ask them they'll get mad and say you've none my a year and forgot my name is that bad???

It's bad, but it's best to be honest. Ask them how to spell their name or something like that so you can get their name without having to ask for it.

That's actually really comical!
I know all my friends names (even though I have nicknames for them), but I occasionally have a horrible brain fart, and forget them or call them by a different name. Just act like you had a horrible brain fart right when you are about to call them by name, and then laugh it off, like you are an idiot. In a couple of weeks you will have their names down pat. AND...for future reference, keep a notebook with all your friends names and nicknames in them, so you don't run into this problem again.

If you think thats bad, my husband, when we were dating called me by a nickname, and when we were out after dating for a couple of weeks asked me what my name was. Should have given me some clue that he had a horrible memory. When you dont even know your girlfriends name. We all have a brain fart every now and again. I would just admit it and ask or you will never know. Good luck.

I forget everybody's name even my own family. I tell people up front that I am bad with names and then I let them decide on what nickname they feel comfortable with me calling them. Try associating their name with something that will make you remember them.

no, not really. your friend is the one with the nickname. the one with the real name doesn't exist to you. it doesn't make it a bad thing. my husband knows alot of his friends by nicknames, it just sounds like he had many good friends is all.

yea its kinda bad but i say just ask to make sure how to spell their name or something like that. Either that or introduce them to someone and then u will hear their name.
