I always wonder why people are not always satisfied with whatever they've got. They are always wanting for more and more all the time no matter how rich or wealthy they are, they will never be contented.

It's due to the basic nature of this world. Wants are limitless. No sooner is a want satisfied than we want something else and/or start worrying about losing what we've just got. This is because change is the nature of this world. Everything is impermanent.

The set-up is this way because the only true source of happiness is not of this world.... it can be found by love and meditation, but not by satisfying desires.
